The largest Mosque in Central Asia is being built in Dushanbe
The foundation stone of the mosque was laid in October 2009.
The construction of a mosque in the north of Dushanbe started in October 2011.
The mosque is located on 12 hectares of land, which will also house a museum, library, conference room, dining room, office buildings and parking for 4 thousand cars.
The mosque will have 4 minarets 75 meters high, the main dome, which will be 47 meters high, and 20 small domes. The mosque will be located on an area of 12 hectares.
Now the facility employs more than 300 specialists from Tajikistan and foreign countries. To date, most of all planned work has been completed.
