The foundation stone of the mosque was laid in October 2009.
The construction of a mosque in the north of Dushanbe started in October 2011.
The mosque is located on 12 hectares of land, which will also house a museum, library, conference room, dining room, office buildings and parking for 4 thousand cars.
The mosque will have 4 minarets 75 meters high, the main dome, which will be 47 meters high, and 20 small domes. The mosque will be located on an area of ​​12 hectares.
Now the facility employs more than 300 specialists from Tajikistan and foreign countries. To date, most of all planned work has been completed.
