Utility analysis - for better decision-making with an Excel template
In this video, I explain the concept of utility analysis and how to use it with my free Excel template.
The criteria and their respective weightings are crucial. The video illustrates this using the example of buying a laptop:
Price
Weight
Display quality
Performance
Warranty
You assign weights to these criteria, ensuring the total doesn't exceed 100%.
Then, you assign points (1-10) to each laptop and each criterion.
The template automatically calculates the winner and displays it with a green background.
