HST Helmet Shape Toolkit, Rhino3D Helmet CAD
Prototype of an application for developing 3D sport helmets. This approach uses Grasshopper to build geometry in Rhino3D. This is touchscreen control of a parametric model that allows for rapid creation of shapes, blending between shapes and generating sketch print views for hand detailing and ideation. Created at correct scale with actual head forms, test standard lines, etc, 3D models can be quickly printed and fit and form tested from any stage of a project.
