The pufferfish is one of the most poisonous fish, and its toxin can easily kill a dolphin. But dolphins have learned that small doses of the toxin cause hallucinations. Therefore, pods of young male dolphins chew the poor fish and pass it around for half an hour to experience a mild narcotic effect.
