Erecting Reinforce Concrete Water Tank Stand and Adding Rebars in Tekla Structure
The RC water tank stand is 9m high from normal ground level and it is made to serve 3 Storey building. The lesson consist of how to model the tank stand and adding of rebars using Tekla structure. the reinforce concrete element that will be consider in this lesson are Column, Foundation and Beams. In the subsequence lesson, we shall model two ways slab and add rebars as well.
The water tank will be supported by 4 columns place at grid line spacing 2.5m x 3.0m. The columns is circular in shape and the diameter is D300.
At the start of this lesson we shall first of all set out the grid lines and create views before placement of foundation follow by columns and then beams, after which, we shall then add reinforcement to the structural element.
