What Is Reverb? | Music Production Basics
In this video, I teach you the basics of using a Reverb plugin to change the sound of a track. Reverb lets you change the sound of the space your audio is playing in, such as emulating a large church hall, or a small wooden room. This allows you, with sufficiently dry audio, to sculpt the sound however you want. I go over common parameters such as the envelope of the reverb, as well as feedback, modulation, and 4 different stock and third party plugins to show different styles of interface.
