Adding Real-Time Date and Time to Google Sheets | How to Freeze Date and Time | Persistent Formula
Do you want to add the current date and time to a Google Sheet but don't want it to change when you refresh the page? In this video, I'll show you how to freeze the date and time using a simple formula.
Instructions:
In the cell where you want to add the date and time, type in the following formula:
=TEXT(NOW(),"DD-MM-YYYY HH:MM:SS")
Press Enter.
The current date and time will be displayed in the cell.
To freeze the date and time, copy and paste the data into the same cell.
The formula will be replaced by text.
Now, if you refresh the page, the date and time will be persistent.
