applying to uni: international student edition
Hi guys! I got a few requests to upload a video about applying internationally but I am no admissions officer; these are just my personal opinions and experiences. Also, I promise I’m not flexing my scholarships, I just wanted to provide some more info lol

Application process (this may differ for each school, but for most schools):
You may need to take the SAT OR the ACT. Only one is required. These are 3-4 hour exams that are widely used for college admissions. The SAT has 4 sections: math (calculator + non-calculator) and two English sections (reading + writing & language). The ACT also has 4 sections: math, English, reading and a science section. You can choose to take the SAT/ACT with or without the essay, but many schools do not accept SAT/ACT scores WITHOUT essays. I would recommend you take these exams with the essay.
For competitive schools, you may also need to submit 2 SAT subject tests, these are exams for: math (level 1 or level 2), biology (ecology or molecular), chemistry, physics, English literature, history, (U.S. history or world history) and languages. These are not necessary, but are recommended for students that are considering competitive schools.
You will need to submit school grades (transcript), letters of recommendation, financial statements and a few essays.
