Managing and Viewing Dailies | Shooting in BRAW on BMPCC
So you've decided to shoot on a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema camera? And you're shooting in BRAW (Film Mode).
Nice! You're gonna love it.
But what should you do each day when you wrap shooting? And how do you take a look at your footage without the de-saturated look of raw files?
It's about color management. We're used to iPhones and cameras adding their own color management to footage. But when you tell a cinema camera to not do that, the resulting files don't look good.
But that's what we want!
Simply enabe color management in Davinci Resolve and you'll see your footage in a much better way.
