As part of the #TodayAtHomeTheater project, the Union of Theatre Workers of the Russian Federation is holding a series of meetings with Anna Nikolaevna Petrova, "Problems of Stage Speech in Pedagogy and Live Theater."
Anna Petrova is a Doctor of Art History, professor in the Department of Stage Speech at the Moscow Art Theatre School, and an academician of the Russian Academy of Humanities. She has taught stage speech at the Moscow Art Theatre School since 1956. She has conducted hundreds of seminars on voice and speech in Russia and abroad.
She is the author of several books, including "Artistic Speech in the Education of an Actor" (1964), "Stage Speech in Russian Theater of the 18th and 19th Centuries" (1977), "Stage Speech: A Textbook for Theater Universities and Colleges" (1982), "Word on the Air" (2001), and others.
