Here is a quick and simple demonstration video on how to replace the dead / weak battery in your BMW key. All you need is a flat tip screwdriver and a new 2025 coin cell battery. Pry the back cover off as I've shown and place the new battery in there + side facing outward. You're all set! Hope you enjoyed the video.
