I’m next to a fan that’s about to ship, and it has an opposed blade outlet damper on it. Now, this is upside down because we don’t want the handle to get broken off by being up above it, so this one needs to be flipped before install. But this is how the outlet damper works. If it were flipped around, this handle would be up. Go this way to close and this way to open, and that’s how you modulate flow with an outlet damper.
