The Russian Ministry of Defense published a summary of the special military operation over the past 24 hours. According to the ministry, Russian troops continue to advance in several directions along the front, inflicting losses on units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
The statement noted that the "North" force group improved its tactical position, engaging mechanized, ranger, and assault units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as a territorial defense brigade, near the settlements of Proletarske, Sadki, Pavlovka, Varachino, and Andriyivka in Sumy Oblast.
In the Kharkiv sector, Russian units struck forces of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' motorized infantry and mechanized brigades near Dvurechanske and Vovchansk.
According to the Ministry of Defense, the "West" force group occupied more advantageous positions, destroying the manpower and equipment of three mechanized brigades, an assault brigade, and two territorial defense brigades of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The strikes hit the areas of Krasny Liman, Kurilovka, Petrovka, Ostrovsky, Boguslavka, and Kupyansk.
In the southern direction, the "South" force group advanced and struck Ukrainian Armed Forces units in the areas of Berestok, Kramatorsk, Ivanopol, Stepanivka, and Kostyantynivka.
The "East" force group continued to advance deep into the Ukrainian Armed Forces' defenses, striking two mechanized and two assault regiments of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, as well as territorial defense forces in the areas of Privolye, Alekseyevka, Yehorivka, and Dolinka.
