REKAP Rush Hour 🚗 - Bears confident Montez Sweat will get extension, but Kap is concerned. Why? ⬇️
Another big day at Halas Hall as #MontezSweat met the media for the first time. Sweat said he's just getting into the building and can't possibly yet think about an extension. Meanwhile, GM Ryan Poles met with the media and says he feels very confident that something would get done in the near future. Jaylon Johnson also spoke and said his intent and hope would be to stay with the Bears long term. Poles added to that saying that the team needs more Jaylon Johnsons.
What had Kap concerned is how highly Poles spoke of his confidence in head coach Matt Eberflus. It sounded as if Poles would be sticking with the coach that has gone 5-20 in his tenure.
The Bulls play at Dallas tonight.
