10 - Evaluation Context - EXERCISE - Row / Filter Context
Hi Learners,
In this video , I have done a small exercise of row context and filter context in power bi , using two different examples.
Remember the following two points:
Row context in power bi helps us to iterate over the rows of a table.
-Filter context in power bi helps us to filter the model.
Example 1 :
Using aggregation in a calculated column. Filter context is empty while creating calculated column. Calculated column is created when the data is refreshed, so no filters applied.
Example 2 :
Using columns in a measure.Measures cannot reference the column names directly as there is no implicit row context
