Bat Lady saves bats!!
From the Emmy award-winning film Keepers of the Wild. Produced, Directed and Written by Allison Argo and narrated by Glenn Close, "Bat Lady" Sue Barnard has a passion to save bats and raise awareness about the importance of these much-maligned creatures. In the final shot, Sue releases a "little brown bat" and watches as it flutters off into the twilight.
Broadcast on PBS in 1994, this was Allison Argo's second film; she was awarded a National Emmy for Directing.
