Figure/Ground
Negative space is an important factor in graphic design. Apply this idea to the graphic technique of using only negative shapes and visualize (4) of the subjects selected in class. The actual objects them- selves should not look that they have been drawn. Only negative space can make for visually intriguing solutions. We want to make it appear that the black background has created the image. As a design consideration the chosen images may be cropped and in some cases a border may not be needed around some boxes.
