GitHub Copilot, using Power BI MCP, GPT-4.1, and Claude Sonnet 4.5, creates a Power BI data model from scratch—from connecting to the database to generating documentation.
No splicing.
No "pre-prepared" results.
Just real work and the real limitations of AI.
What the AI does in this video:
1️⃣ Connects to SQL Server and imports data into a Power BI model
2️⃣ Adds filters to Power Query
3️⃣ Creates relationships, measures, a calendar, and Time Intelligence
4️⃣ Generates detailed data model documentation, including:
