Two old trees stand tall, their trunks twisted together for hundreds of years
They are not alone. They stand united in strength, and we cannot
destroy this holy, sacred place. The trees look so calm, yet seem so
powerful, and I know they will still be standing after we pass. How
many birds have made their nests in this place? How many storms have
blown? How many children have climbed them, generation upon
generation? How many artists have found inspiration here? I will
always embrace the wisdom they teach me:
