Tandy 2500 SX/25: Intro, Video Memory Upgrade, and Multimedia Experience
Meet my Tandy 2500 SX/25! I do an overview of the system and then upgrade the video RAM from 256K to 512K using MT4C1664Z-10 ZIP chips. I also go over the motherboard and how this system differs from its cousin, the Tandy 2500 RSX. After verifying the upgrade works, I configure Windows 3.1 and demo some Windows software which requires a 256-color video mode: Microsoft Encarta and Microsoft Wine Guide. The video during the demo portion is a tad washed-out...sorry. I couldn't tell on my camera's LCD.
