Consequently, this conversion path is one of the things I learned early in my marketing career. This allowed me to really track conversions in Google Analytics, gave me a way to A/B test, and stop relying on "I have a website now so I'll get customers and sales right away" mindset.
It enabled me to move away from gut feelings and really be creative in finding ways to convert traffic into leads - ethically. And that led to creating helpful content and thinking from the buyer's perspective.
