How to connect Domain Name with Apache Web Server demo
To connect a domain name to an Apache web server using a DNS server, you can follow these general steps:
Set up an Apache web server: Before you can connect your domain name to an Apache web server, you need to have a web server up and running. You can install and configure Apache on a Linux server or a Windows server.
Obtain the IP address of the web server: Once you have a web server running, you'll need to obtain its IP address. You can typically do this by running the "ipconfig" command on a Windows server or the "ifconfig" command on a Linux server.
Register a domain name: To connect a domain name to your web server, you'll need to register a domain name with a domain registrar such as GoDaddy, Namecheap, or Google Domains. In our case, we will be using "example.com" domain for demo purposes.
Configure DNS records: Once you have a domain name registered, you'll need to configure DNS records to point the domain name to your web server's IP address. You can typically do this in the domain registrar's control panel.
Test the configuration: Once you have configured the DNS records, you can test the configuration by typing the domain name into a web browser. If everything is configured correctly, the browser should display the website hosted on your Apache web server.
