We continue to develop a homemade carpentry flatbed milling machine Yashin-9 with numerical control of the vertical axis (CNC wood router) and a plywood portal. Movement along the longitudinal and transverse axes is carried out manually, and in the future with electronic control of these movements. That is, it will not be a traditional CNC machine. In my opinion, such a machine is closer to the mentality of an amateur carpenter and will fully contribute to the implementation of his creative aspirations.
The machine is designed on the basis of the Yashin-5 machine with the replacement of the motion module with a manual milling cutter with a portal similar to the portal of CNC machines.
This issue is about the design plan.
The machine is based on the Woodro machine by Korean Lee Hoon.

If you have a desire to replicate one of the Yashin series machines with a manual milling cutter from Yashin-3 to Yashin-10 and for this purpose purchase the corresponding documentation developed in the Unified System for Design Documentation (ESKD), containing drawings, a detailed specification of components for the order, information about suppliers of components, as well as other materials that allow you to make the machine yourself, write to me by email [email protected] and I will send you a written review of the Yashin series machines (except for Yashin-5M and Yashin-9 - carpentry CNC), which will help you choose your future machine. Please indicate your name and city in the letter.
