So we all have old computers lying around, I have a 2015 13-inch MacBook Pro. And the question is what do you do with this old tech? You don’t want it to just lay around in a closet collecting dust. So what do you do if you have this old tech and you want make use of it, because there is still some good potential horsepower. It’s not completely useless. My idea for this video is to turn my old obsolete 2015 MacBook Pro into a Mac Server. Complete with plenty of storage for dumping files, wireless TimeMachine backups, and for using it as a Plex media server.

*It’s worth noting that you can just enable Screen Sharing in the server laptop’s sharing settings. This allows for other Macs to remotely connect without any third-party software. The benefits of using an app like RustDesk is that it can be used by any type of device (Mac, Windows, Linux, Mobile)
