Destiny 2: Bungie Handles DLC All Wrong - Is Curse of Osiris Worth It?
Curse of Osiris impressions and feedback, I think that Bungie needs to change how it handles expansions and DLC. The artwork and music in Curse of Osiris are fantastic, but the story, amount of content, and design decisions regarding the infinite forest and activities within the DLC needs to change. The infinite forest has some great potential but is cut off because Bungie locks the activities out after a single weekly completion. The narrative falls miles short of allowing Osiris to shine. One of the most important lore characters of all time within Destiny is constantly pushed to the periphery as Bungie’s rushed development timeline seeps through every crack of this DLC. Finally seeing the Heroic Strike Playlist added into the game only to be gated behind purchasing the DLC alongside the Prestige Leviathan AND Nightfall activities is unacceptable. PC players have had access to the Prestige mode for a little over a month at this point and it is now inaccessible to them without paying Bungie for this expansion. Something seriously needs to change Bungie, your player base wants to love this game but you keep making decisions at every corner that makes it harder and harder for your fans to continue supporting this franchise until it improves.
