How to Fix Roblox Error Code 403 (2026)

Getting Error Code 403 in Roblox? This usually indicates corrupted local files. Follow these steps to fix it.

Step 1: Delete Roblox Folder from Local Folder

Press Windows + R on your keyboard, type "%localappdata%" and press Enter. Locate and delete the "Roblox" folder found inside.

Step 2: Delete rbxcsettings.rbx from Locallow Folder

Press Windows + R again, type "%appdata%" and press Enter. Navigate up one folder to "LocalLow" (or go directly to %userprofile%\AppData\LocalLow). Find the file named "rbxcsettings.rbx" and delete it.

Step 3: Relog into Roblox

Open Roblox, log out of your account completely. Close the app, then log back in with your username and password.

Step 4: Reinstall Roblox

If the issue persists, uninstall Roblox from your computer via Add or Remove Programs. Then download and install the latest version from the official Roblox website:

Restart your PC after reinstalling. Launch Roblox. Error Code 403 should now be resolved.
