Besides using a simple queue, there are other ways to limit bandwidth on MikroTik devices. This limitation is called a queue tree. A queue tree is a bandwidth management method that cannot be implemented directly like a simple queue. To limit bandwidth in a queue tree, we must first mark data packets using firewall mangle. With this packet marking, we can determine what type of traffic we want to limit, based on IP address, protocol, port, or even specific websites.
