Observing the Changes:
• Color Release: Real saffron gradually releases its color into the boiling water, turning the water a yellowish-orange hue. This process may take a few minutes.
• Color of the Threads: The threads of Real saffron retain their red or orange color and do not completely lose their color.
• Shape of the Threads: Real saffron threads maintain their shape and structure even after being placed in boiling water. They do not quickly become soft or dissolve.
Final Check:
• If the saffron quickly turns the water a reddish color and the threads lose their color or quickly become soft and dissolve, it may be fake saffron.
