a beautiful level comes with gorgeous lighting, and the way to achieve gorgeous lighting is to really know how to implement and tweak the lights you have to fit your purpose. i'll go over the lights in the engine, and give examples of ways you can use it to showcase important things, add visibility while balancing performance, and we'll create a little flickering light at the end for a little fun addition.
