TBC - Symbol Manager - Field Data Edition Commands
The symbols manager allows users to import symbols into their projects. Within the drafting tab, there is a symbols management feature where existing symbols in the project can be viewed and selected. Users can also import additional symbols from other resources. By clicking a specific button, users can access the Trimble CAD styles, which include a symbol library file named symbol.dot CYM, containing various symbols. For instance, users can add a power pole symbol, labeled as PP, to their project. Additionally, symbols can be imported from other file types, such as CAD or DXF files. Users can navigate to the location of these files to select and import symbols like drainage manholes, catch basins, storm manholes, or other relevant symbols for their projects. Once selected, these symbols can be inserted and utilized within the project, enhancing the drafting and design process by providing a wide range of symbol options.
