Why Daniela Machado is Looking Forward to the Summer Institute in Digital Literacy 2022
The Summer Institute in Digital Literacy attracts people from around the country and around the world. Daniela Machado co-leads the Brazilian media literacy program EducaMídia, run by Palavra Aberta Institute (a non-profit organization aimed at promoting and defending freedom of speech). She graduated in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in journalism and spent 20 years working as a reporter and editor in renowned news outlets, including Reuters News, before positioning herself in the educational field. Co-author of the Brazilian Media Literacy Guide.
