The Watcher
Audio illustrator James Newman and the James Newman Cinematic Orchestra are pleased to present "The watcher".
Here is my musical portrait of the lofty looking down upon the lowly...
"Sitting on high, watching the world go by,
I am the watcher of mankind."
Though one might think that this piece is solely about that which is made of stone from the hands of man, which sit above with downcast looks. It is also about that which is not made from our hand, who sit much higher above and watch us who are made a little lower for now. I allude to Hebrews 2:7-9, and Daniel chapter 4.
