Quick video to show a student of mine how we can add bandages quickly to a Maya character that's already rigged.
It's worth mentioning that this "wrap" action can often slow down rigs and performance within Maya's playback. Doing additions to a rig like this I would recommend as a LAST step, even after animation.
It's a great way to add customization and make rigs your own. It doesn't have to stop with bandages. Moles, facial hair, patches, and more can be done with this technique!
