Organise your thoughts and record your documents, create links to websites and pages, and so much more with these two apps on Linux Mint.
Mostly focused on note taking and both theses apps will do so much more but that's a rung or two further up the ladder than where I currently stand.
There's also obsidian and many others but these are the two I've been testing and comparing plus using Zim for 3 years now.
I'm using a VM with LM 20.3 for most of the demo because CherryTree is a little harder to install on it.

Install:
Zim from the software manager however you like for Linux Mint 20.x and 21.x series

Cherrytree;
cherrytree LM 21.x (not for 20.x)
https://community.linuxmint.com/softw...
Software Manager
Appimage 120MB, Flatpack 900MB, Snap
Homepage/launchpad 3MB
PPA and use Synaptic Package Manager

Websites: Timecode, Mint version finder, etc
Ubuntu Code Base Name https://linuxmint.com/download_all.php to find your Ubuntu code name
for 21.x series Ubuntu Jammy or install from software but no LM packages, was a few days ago...
for 20.x series Ubuntu Focal
for 19.x series Ubuntu Bionic

Download correct version, I do not recommend the 'latest' but your version as I had issues with the latest version on 20.x series of Mint

Scroll down

Select your Ubuntu code base version then find the cherrytree_xxxx_AMD64.deb file and click on it to download, Double click the .deb file to install it

How to use timecode website and also customise Cinn/Xfce clocks.

Do this at your own risk. Both these apps do much more and have many other options, I can only show what I know.
