HOW TO WORK WITH BROKEN REFERENCES?
In this week's episode Lennart will show you HOW TO WORK WITH BROKEN REFERENCES in #SOLIDWORKS.
A broken reference is usually marked as a ➔ x. This indicates that the #reference points are locked for editing. It can be easily removed by checking ”Show x in feature tree for broken external references" from the External References menu.
However, this fix does not make it possible to edit the sketch and you might forget that the reference has been broken. Instead open the sketch and go to "display/delete relations". Filter the relations by "Broken" and delete the relations.
