How to Change KDE Plasma to XFCE4 on HaPlay GO Zero 1 | PostmarketOS v24.06 Linux
This video is a guide for HaPlay GO Zero 1 users who want to switch from the KDE Plasma desktop environment to the lighter XFCE4 desktop environment.

1).
login as root with the command:
$ sudo su
default password HaPlay GO Zero 1: hahaha
2).
stop the sddm service with the command:
service sddm stop
3).
from a text-only environment, login with:
username: haplay
password: hahaha
4).
login again as root with the command:
$ sudo su
default password HaPlay GO Zero 1: hahaha
5).
remove KDE Plasma desktop with the command:
apk del postmarketos-ui-plasma-desktop dolphin konsole gwenview okular
6).
install XFCE4 with the command:
apk add postmarketos-ui-xfce4 xfce4-notifyd xfce4-terminal xfce4-pulseaudio-plugin pavucontrol thunar xarchiver 7zip udisks2 udiskie gvfs network-manager-applet
7).
clear the cache and restart to try the new XFCE4 desktop environment.
apk cache clean && reboot
