Imagine an application that combines history, heritage, tourism, and digital technology & 3D. Mix it all together and you get a smartphone application called Kairos Guide.
A long-time acquaintance and friend, Gerald initially entrusted us with some video and 360 image creations. Then our mission expanded to include artistic direction, app and website design, photo shoots of historical characters, and the creation of communication materials.
Gerald and Rémy, co-founders and true history enthusiasts, share a vision and ambition to take the public on a fully immersive visual and auditory adventure through time using 3D technology. Technology serves history with realism and the desire to convey knowledge in a fun way.
Webapic, a Breton company, handled the development. A delicate mission, as the application integrates stereoscopic images for viewing relief scenes, as well as virtual reality, maps, and many other innovative technologies.
The 100% local project continues to develop with new features that will be launched in June 2023.

Pegasus Bridge is a crossing over the Caen Canal in Normandy, France that played a critical role in the D-Day invasion of World War II. On June 6, 1944, British forces under the command of Major John Howard landed by glider near the bridge and successfully captured it in a surprise attack, which helped secure the eastern flank of the Normandy landings.
The bridge was named after the emblem of the British airborne forces, which is a winged horse called Pegasus. The capture of Pegasus Bridge, along with other key objectives in the early hours of D-Day, allowed the Allies to establish a foothold on the continent and begin their campaign to liberate Europe from Nazi control.
Today, Pegasus Bridge is a popular tourist attraction and a symbol of the Allied victory in World War II. The original bridge has been replaced, but a replica stands in its place and the surrounding area is home to several museums and memorials dedicated to the history of the Normandy landings and the soldiers who fought there.
