Maggots found in Durban patient's mouth after amputation
Disturbing images of maggots squirming in the mouth of a Durban patient have left South Africans in shock after a video of maggots inside the mouth of 52-year-old Sadek Ebrahim went viral on social media this week. Ebrahim was admitted to RK Khan Hospital in Chatsworth, south of Durban, on June 19 2019. He was being treated for gangrene, among other ailments. His story has been shared far and wide after he passed away on July 3 2019.
