Alarming Parallels of Modern America and the Roman Empire | Jeremy Ryan Slate
Hey y'all, in this episode, I sit down with Jeremy Ryan Slate to chat about the surprising parallels between ancient Rome and modern America. We dive deep into Rome's fascinating history - from kingdom to republic to empire - and explore the political strategies and power struggles of figures like Julius Caesar and Augustus.
We also touch on how these historical events mirror today's political dynamics, including modern propaganda, the state of democracy, and possible future shifts in the U.S. Beyond that, Jeremy shares insights on local engagement, financial responsibility, and the impact of new media on society.
Plus, learn about his work in public relations and his books, 'Extraordinary' and 'Commanding Your Brand.' Don't miss this episode if you're curious about how our present mirrors the past.
