LinkedIn is a great platform to write your content. Being used by over 800 Million professionals there's a good chance that your ideal client will have an account. All you need to do is get creating!
It's no good just scrolling, you need to share your expertise for the work to see and start building your own organic connections.
If you want to generate leads and a great following on your LinkedIn profile then you need to create your own content.
Each week I come up with 5 new ideas for you so that you do not need to worry about what type of content is best for LinkedIn. Or what posts do well on LinkedIn, you can just follow my suggestions and get creative.
It is more important to get creative than to worry about what time is best. My advice is always to just get the content shared.
What is the best time to post?
NOW. Why worry about what is the best time, all you need to do is get creating. You’ll see loads of posts telling you that this time is best or this day doesn’t work. The bottom line is that whilst you are trying to find the correct day you are taken away from actually creating anything.

What should my first LinkedIn post be?
My top tip is to focus on just one post per week, but come in and engage on other posts too. When I say engage, I do not mean a like or a smiley face. Real engagement in the form of words. Make it a conversation!
Another question I get asked is “How many views is good for a LinkedIn post?” My answer is always to not worry. If you get over 1,000 you are doing well, but that all depends on the number of followers that you have. What is more important is engagement. Are people commenting or adding a like or other reaction?
