Mass Guardsmen take on Endurance Team Trials
Fifteen soldiers and Airmen from the Massachusetts National Guard tested their fitness at Hanscom Air Force Base on December 2, 2023, during the State Qualifier for the All-Guard Endurance Team. The event included reverse lunges, rowing, box jumps, farmers' carries, sled pulls, and other movements, all preceded by a 500-meter run totaling 5K of running. The servicemembers completed the event in the same order and were scored on their time to complete all ten movements, including the runs.
After a tough competition, Sgt. 1st Class Robert Licciardi, Recruiting and Retention Command, Sgt. Connor Gorman, 164th Transportation Battalion, 1st Sgt. John Washburn, Recruiting and Retention Command, and Sgt. 1st Class Megan Gaedje, Recruiting and Retention Command, will move on to compete in the 2024 All-Guard Endurance Team Qualifier in March.
