Swansea String Band
The Swansea String band is made up of an enthusiastic group of people of all ages. Their large catalogue of music covers a wide range of genres such as Blues, Rock n' Roll, Ska and Jazz.
The band is led by experienced musician Gary Phillips and is made up of around 25 members. This unique size of the band results in a strong performance getting people of all ages to get up and dance.
Instruments played include bass, electric and acoustic guitar, violin, piano, ukulele and harmonica.
The band have received rave reviews, often getting standing ovations from the crowds. They have landed a number of prime time slots at gigs and festivals across Wales. They were featured on an article by Llanelli Online News.
The Swansea String Band are available for hire at £300. This includes a fine tuned performance of approximately 1 hour 30 minutes. We have our own sound system equipment and would need enough room for all of the members.
