A #vVIRTUALtarget session by Christian Witt, Vector.
Learn how to look inside of your virtual #AUTOSAR ECU by using the tool vVIRTUALtarget pro. In a typical workflow with the tools #DaVinci Developer and #VectorCANoe it increases your software quality of virtualized ECUs.
USE CASE
vVIRTUALtarget virtualizes your AUTOSAR ECU including the Basic Software Stack. During the development of your ECU, some Software Components (SWCs) may not exist. This lack results in not connected ports on other SWCs. vVIRTUALtarget pro automatically creates interaction possibilities for those ports, which enables you to monitor and stimulate that SWCs anyway. This helps to test your virtual ECU already in early development phases.
In addition, you can monitor sender/receiver port connections between SWCs to increase your software component quality. In your execution environment (e.g., CANoe) you can run the virtual ECU and use the additionally created interaction possibilities to increase the test coverage of your ECU.
