Esri Field Apps — Introduction to the Collector App
Collector for ArcGIS is a mobile data collection app that allows the field worker to capture data in the field and then return to the office. The accuracy of this data is dependent on the GPS unit linked to the app, from +/- 10 feet down to sub centimeter accuracy. This webinar will demonstrate how to set up a feature layer so it can be used inside the app. From there, ATG Technical Specialist Scott Mizsak, will look at using the app and how the feature layer in ArcGIS Online will update automatically and discuss the benefits this has when this feature layer is in a Civil 3D drawing.
