Basically the same description. Credits for finding this:    • Video

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, THIS ISNT AN ARG. IVE ACTUALLY STUMBLED UPON THIS ON 4CHAN, AND I CANNOT CONFIRM WHETHER THIS IS A VIRUS OR NOT. (also i DO NOT have the link for the game. remember that the video is the ONLY THING i've found.

there is no additional stuff to this footage i took

The backstory: [new memory]
Back on July 16, 2021. I was on my windows 10, minding my own business: doom-scrolling on 4chan posts, hoping to find someone funny. Until I've accidentally stumbled upon a weird link, which seems to be a download link. It was unknown on who this identified person was, except for green text, stating: "*can someone check this for me?*" without a thought processed, i clicked the link, expecting a mp4 or some image that wasn't placed in correctly. instead, google chrome was warning me about how "THIS FILE IS A POTENTIAL DANGEROUS DOWNLOAD." but because i was too damn naive, i decided to check it out anyway, and the fact that windows security didn't warn me at all (hah funny foreshadowing). the file format was either a .jar file, or just a plain .exe file (reason why i think so is because you can run executable on java, and exe files can run more stuff.) the atmosphere in this game started calm, but ended up being disturbing as i traveled along the black blocks, leading to a tunnel, or a flat surface, with some player model staring at me. then sooner is the moment where windows security warned me about a severe warning caught on this specific file. that's when i decided "welp, time to pack it up." windows security automatically deleted the file, and i had to remove it to prevent anything else from happening. to this day, it looks like the 4chan poster is now anonymous, and I'm still not able to find the lost link...that leads to this potential disaster.

note about the video (june 10 2026, because people don't seem to read the comments)

call me insane, but this game could represent loneliness, because most of this game rarely has people, and the purple guy is most likely not a player, especially when this is a pre-classic version of minecraft.

the game was caught by at-least a few viewers, meaning someone out there COULD potentially own a copy of this game.

the music was added with the game, since the music cut from the black transition was not intentional.

the only feature in this game was to move around, and break blocks; you can tell because the top right doesn't indicate the block that is being held.

the top left corner highlights the game version, "0.0a", which doesn't exist on available minecraft instances, modrinth, or on the minecraft wiki.

the video was cut short due to the entire game just being nothing else but grasslands.

the video was taken around July 16, 2021, the time where i had a double monitor, and a windows 10. The reason why i know this, is because the recording has a name that displayed the time and date it was taken.

This note here got debunked, because the original footage seems to be this footage, which for some reason has that weird cut.

i have no clue who or what the purple guy (4:40) is, but i believe that their texture is just 0.0.12a's terrain atlas texture on minecraft (see minecraft wiki) since it is obvious to tell about the purple and dark purple highlights.

new note: after some research, the reason for the blue bar on the right is something that had appeared on pre-classic versions of minecraft, also possibly a bug with old minecraft where the rendering camera is misaligned from the view. (ex. 0.0.11a happens to have this blue bar when this it is run on modrinth.)
