Historic Dutch windmills protect themselves with ABB technology
The windmills at the Kinderdijk in South Holland have been standing since the early 18th century. Built to run pumps which help control water management, the buildings have long been recognised as a World Heritage Site, and keeping them protected – especially from fire – is a major concern.
