Electromagnetism: Lecture 3
Theoretical physicist Dr Andrew Mitchell presents an undergraduate lecture course on classical Electromagnetism / Electrodynamics at University College Dublin.
In this lecture, we move on to the discussion of dynamical effects. I explain Faraday's law of induction, the electromotive force (emf) and the flux rule, as well as inductance. Finally I discuss Maxwell's correction to Ampere's law, and the full equations describing the theory of electrodynamics, which are known as Maxwell's equations.
