Painting a Van in January... Is It As Bad As You Think?
In November of 2021, I started priming and painting the van I purchased for travel and adventure. Her name is Jean Claude Damn Vann, and it's a god damned van. I decided one day that painting the interior was a step worth taking and making the time for, and in the end, I am glad I did. This video demonstrates the layers and steps required to paint during one of the coldest months of the year... January. This video was filmed in January 2022. I just chose to edit and complete other videos before this one. As of September 2023, the van is around 90% completed and ready to go on adventures. Before I show you the many exciting antics Jean Claude and I have been up to, I thought it might be a good idea to share where Jean Claude begin, and I think this video highlights this. I cannot wait to show you the new and improved, fully livable, Jean Claude Damn Vann. But first, please enjoy an example of what it took to get there.
