🎧“Kindergarten” is is a deceptive ukulele-heavy queer anthem, released just months after Chloe came out as lesbian in August of 2019. The song describes the overwhelming feeling of a young crush. Chloe mentioned the concept of the song previously via a YouTube video:
"liking a girl so much you feel like ur going crazy like your heart’s in kindergarten".
The song is Chloe’s first release since her debut album Rabbit Hearted, and 2019 single “Kalmia Kid.” The song first released acoustically through a YouTube video as preparation for her tour, then later released officially along with another YouTube video on January 10.
