Fiddergum (feeder damper). How to tie it and why is it needed? HD
In this video, we will show you how to attach a feedergum and explain a bit about what it is used for. As is known, in cold water fish become skittish and extremely cautious. Therefore, for successful fishing, it is recommended to use small hooks on the thinnest lines with a diameter of 0.06 / 0.07 and 0.08 mm. Immediately the question arises: "How can you catch a large roach or a trophy bream on such a thin leader?" And here the feeder shock absorber comes to our rescue. Fishermen call it feedergum. Feedergum is an elastic material that is placed between the leader and the feeder rig. Thanks to its elasticity, it compensates for the fish's jerks and reduces the load on the leader, allowing you to reel in large fish on ultra-thin lines.
